My lovely fuel injection... Check it out!

So, I'm not a big fan of the Black Eyed Peas but I usually try to give them a little break. I know they've been around for a long time and never really got mainstream recognition. So now that they are doing a lot of ad work I feel like, "Well, they put in a lot of years. Maybe they deserve to make some money."

Then I read this story:

Let's get promoted!

Past performers were Maroon 5 and I believe, Good Charlotte.

Congratulations guys (and one sexy lady), you've drained your last bit o' cred.

Could you extend that benefit of the doubt to them if they truly were doing it because they feel so strongly about getting Americans to drive more environmentally-friendly cars? Aren't they using their powers for good? And getting paid for it? Just playing devils' advocate. Cuz I say whatever makes people start thinking that way is sort of good. ...

Yeah Mary, I probably would but that was ruined when, in the posted article, Fergie says they had a hand in designing the car... Umm, sure. Sure you did. Also, did they a Best Buy commercial.

Ablebody, I dig Honda. I drive one. I love ASIMO. If they brought ASIMO on tour with them just so he could climb a staircase for the entire show, they'd gain back some cool points.

Right.
I guess my point is whether they can shepherd the herd toward something "good" they might not have even given a second thought to before.
And ewe're really referring more to the artistic credibility of their motivations as musicians/artists.
And since I'm not their biggest music fan, I will let their cred be the sacrificial lamb in order for the flock of sheep to be guided to the pasture of environmental sustainibility. baaaaaah.

all this sheep talk is getting me horny.

the "good" i'm referring to is hybrid automobiles and their large partially retarded lemming-esque fan base ready to buy anything that celebrities put their name on. THAT'S what i'm pre-supposing.
I love pre-supposing.

that wasn't worded very well.
